Handel’s Messiah with Choir and Orchestra and guests East Valley area high school choirs

  • December 11, 2022

Handel’s Messiah is not just one of the best-known pieces of literature for its rich history, but also for its timeless ability to move the soul. What was written by Handel in just a few weeks continues to inspire every year.

This December 11 performance will be like no other as it features East Valley area high school choirs along with the premiere choral ensemble Arizona Cantilena Chorale and their elite orchestra, all under the direction of Dr. Dave Thye. An extravaganza as we join forces with new friends and experience the soul-stirring sounds in the majestic St. Mary’s Basilica, made possible by a generous grant by the Otto and Edna Neely Foundation.

Kick off your holiday festivities as you experience the splendor of this ageless, masterful work. December 4, 10 and 11 at various times and locations in the East Valley.

Made possible by a generous grant by the Otto and Edna Neely Foundation.
